Rewatched in preparation for Alpha, but damn. I think this is my favorite Julia Ducournau film (Titane was still amazing).. I think the conflict of this movie was more earned and visceral than in Titane.. again, love both can’t really compare them since they’re going for different things. Nonetheless, I think Julia Ducournau is one of the most interesting and original directors working today. Can’t wait to see what’s next from her.
