Alien
A work of art from start to finish. Exactly what would happen if the average human encountered a malignant alien lifeform, down to the bantering and bickering among the group. The dialogue is documentary-like, the form is classical. The penetration and smothering motifs are still deeply unsettling. All the frills - music, sound effects, art design, etc. are 10 out of 10.
