this movie deals with • falling in love • anxious attachment • anxious avoidance  • loss • abuse • the human need of reassurance • falling in love again • closure • mental health in various aspects  • the longing to disappear …and most importantly, at least to me, the art of someone feel special. i’m sure i’m only scratching the surface of all this movie covers. after the first watch, Ritual already means a lot to me. the amount of thought and passion that went into this was extremely evident; it made for an emotional, relatable, and captivating experience in all of its moments. the human heart + nature is beautiful at its core, despite how cold it can be. sometimes, it only takes one person to open someone up and help them recognize the beauty that is in every present moment it’s a shame i watched this for the first time two days before my birthday and not the day before :(
