Stoker

Park Chan-wook is such a wonderful director. There is so much to be said of every tiny detail in this movie, from the stunning transitions and cinematography, to the background sounds which are made prominent so that we the audience might hear them as India does. I love the poisoned relationship between India and her sorrowful mother, I think Nicole Kidman portrays motherhood in a heartbreaking way that many people might recognise. I’m a huge fan of Mia Wazikowska, and will watch pretty much anything she’s in. A beautiful movie!
