A movie that’s wholly uninterested in Michael Jackson as a person, instead he’s a grown little boy. The man who wrote Billie Jean is actually a sweet child who never hurt anyone or made a bad decision in his life, everything bad that happened to him was someone else’s choice. It’s also completely uninterested in the process behind making these songs in the first place. Thriller has some of the most legendary BTS stories ever, but we get none of that in favor of reenacting the dance from the thriller movie.

One of the worst parts about desperation is the ways it makes you cruel and turns you your brothers. If theres anything to take away from this movie it’s that, it’s men who exploit the people around them to avoid their own exploitation. None of it’s forgivable, but one of the tragedies of poverty is it breeds habitats these behaviors can live in. A miserably, amazing film.
