Pulp Fiction
This movie was... amazing. I'm telling you, even from the first scene, no, just by seeing the flipping length of this movie, I knew it would mean something. It was so weird, so incredibly odd and jumbled and didn't make sense until the end. Like life, maybe? But the meaning I pulled from this is that a new beginning may await you if you let it. Jules saved Wallace, and he forgives him. Mia overdoses but she's saved. It's clearest when Jules outright says it; a miracle has happened. It's time to retire. The robber couple is spared because of him. He forgives them, he realises the meaning of his usual death oath. Only Vincent ignores this. He's killed.
Meaning aside, I just love how it's written. The long, uncut conversations. The jumbled time line. The dance scene! The ability to have so many characters in one movie and still make each one live. Even the mystique that still remains somehow draws me in rather than annoys me. Had it been just a bit off, it wouldn't have worked. I have so many questions that the movie must be great.
