Hacksaw Ridge
One of the greatest film ever made. Everything about it was so meaningful. It showed war so realisically in a way that taught me or more showed me how horrific it really was. All those men dying just like that. Andrew Garfield had a phenomenal peformance and is still my favourite actor of all time. Also desmond doss is litterally so insane hes out there single handely saving 75 men from an open battle field by himself and scaling them down a cliff using a rope pushing off a tree also straight up kicking a grenade mid air to save everyone. Also love the start of the film and the lightheartedness of it and how it showed the difference between his life at home and how his trauma surrounding guns and violence started with his fathers grief and how he is so messed up from the first world war which then transformed straight into the battlefield and utter chaos of which was Hacksaw Ridge. 5/5
