Signs

I’m consistently impressed by M. Night Shyamalan and each time it gets me more and more excited for his upcoming work. This film is just so well done to me and extremely underrated. Very happy to see an alien film that doesn’t need big explosions and action sequences to grip you fully. All the acting was brilliant as well, with the children being better than most child actors and Joaquin Phoenix once again showing why he is so highly acclaimed. My only wish was that we got to see other effects on the world outside the family, but hard to give such a well rounded movie much criticism.
