About Time

i wasn’t expecting much from this movie but it left me in awe and teary eyed. the message of living in the moment is something i feel i can learn a lot from and the concept of time travel is executed perfectly in this film. I watched about time with my dad so that could be why the protagonist’s relationship with his father stuck with me so much. the theme of needing to let go of the past to move forward with your future is so poignant to me as i often find myself living in the past and i strive to be able to live my life like today of all days was the day i was traveling back to. the romance in this movie felt so pure that i couldn’t help but smile, their wedding made me smile ear to ear and then the death of the protagonists father brought me to the verge of tears. this movie was such an amazing piece of media and art that i still beat myself up about not giving it a shot sooner. everyone should watch this movie because everyone can learn a lot from it.
