Waves

Waves is pure art. It’s layered with so much emotion and such complex characters that I was hooked from start to finish. The writing is incredible; you don’t just watch these people, you feel what they feel. The first half has you holding your breath, completely shattered, and the second half slowly pieces you back together with this beautiful journey of healing. That conversation between Emily and her dad… it’s been hours and I’m still thinking about it. The performances are breathtaking, the soundtrack is stunning, and it all comes together into something that feels both heartbreaking and deeply human. Life really does come and go in waves, and this film is going to stay with me for a long time.
