watching this now made me realize how glad i actually am that i never watched it when i was supposed to, because if i had, maybe i wouldn’t have had the same experience, and the story wouldn’t have resonated with me as much i feel like a lot of stories about teenagers aren’t really meant to be watched by teenagers themselves, but by the slightly older versions of them - so you can look back with as much nostalgia as it takes and feel seen, understood genuinely, lady bird is stronger than i am, because all that boy drama would’ve stuck with me for years
