Cure
A film that not only looks so good visually, but feels good too. It's so simple in what it achieves, but it does so masterfully and you end feeling completely in love with the beauty of it. The gorgeous sound design, the aesthetic visual and warm atmosphere it surrounds you with, and the cinematography is so delicate and pure, it feels as though every single shot is so thoughtfully articulated and layered atop the previous shot so perfectly. It's both vividly warm and beautifully cold to the soul. It'd be unfair not to mention that the acting was just so damn good. Just so natural, and so much so that I forgot I was watching actors play their characters.
It's kind of beautiful how this film makes you feel, and what it does to you. It isn't intense, instead it's quite gentle. It leaves you with what it's meant to leave you with, and not some expectation or even a cliche in sight because it's so unique and good at what it does..
(p.s, I need his wardrobe ASAP)
