Sentimental Value
Well-shot, about familial issues in a deeply relatable way. I can't lie, a let-down in comparison to Trier's other films despite some really beautiful shots it struck me as a bit cliche. The funniest scene was when Gustav gives his grand-son "The Piano Teacher" which is a deeply inappropriate film for a child, in that one scene it's so clear that he's out of practice dealing with children or being paternal - to me, that one scene made the entire film.
