Get Out

Get Out is a great movie. The little tidbits of the true nature of the family getting dropped is genius, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen a movie that uses its score so well. It’s a horror movie that brilliantly uses unsettling moments, which is the kind that I like. There’s a scene just past the 45-minute mark where the mood truly shifts, and it’s fantastic. Overall, it’s a wonderful directorial debut for Jordan Peele, and stay woke. 9.5/10
