the concept of this being movie of the year… the concept of that music scene… the concept of your culture following you like a ghost as it transforms…  the concept of remmick perpetuating the cycle of oppression… the concept of the white passing woman being the first one to be turned…. the concept of remmick switching into an irish accent when he says the Lord’s prayer… the concept of smoke letting stack go… the concept of fatherhood being a narrative tool throughout the story… the concept of sammie playing for them at the end… the concept of sammie saying it was the best night of his life… the concept of stack seeing his brother and the sun for the last time on the same day…  the concept of sammie being dressed like smoke… the concept of stack and mary choosing not to perpetuate the cycle… the concept of this being THE move of ALL TIME!
