Squid Game
(season two)
When I said that I wanted a Sae Byeok appearance that was not what I had in mind. This felt even more predictable than season one- the novelty of the show’s concept has worn off, the new characters are for the most part completely uninteresting and lack complexity (despite the efforts of a phenomenal cast), and the narrative itself was dull and fell flat at every given opportunity.
Leaving the season on the cliffhanger that it did was an intriguing choice bearing in mind that season one had two more episodes than it’s sequel, which seems like more than enough time to wrap up the story. Also, I get that he’s the main character but him still being alive is becoming progressively more and more far fetched.
The best part of the season was by far No-Eul’s storyline, more of that please
