GoodFellas

one of my favourite films of all time when i first watched this in 2023 i hadn’t seen the best show of all time (the sopranos) so it was really funny seeing all the characters from the sopranos in this. obviously i knew christopher, melfi and philly were in this but i also recognised paulie and pussy in this even if they were only background characters  the camera work in this film is amazing, particularly in the scene where henry leads karen through the diner the needle drops in this film are tremendous, especially with layla. probably my favourite soundtrack next to boogie nights funny how ray liotta was great in this and ended his career with cocaine bear also since playing vice city i realise that henry hill and tommy have the same actors
