Do the Right Thing
The poignancy of Do The Right Things’ sociocultural explorations has only been elevated by the tests of time. Though this watch was long overdue for me, it feels especially urgent to sit with and let simmer the challenges this film poses when living in Trump’s America. Sincere portraits of these kind of racial relations are few and far between, and Spike Lee is clearly the right man for that job.
