The Thing
This movie is easily the best "slasher" that I have ever seen. Usually, the bad slasher movies consist of big boobs, bad jump scares, and even worse acting. However, The Thing is a much different film. First off there is not a single woman OR jump scare, and the acting is actually pretty well done. Another thing that "slashers" tend to execute poorly is the tension building. For The thing though, it's what makes the film so fucking amazing.I also wanted to talk a little bit about how much I loved the ending, I honestly don't think there could have been a better ending, I have a pet peeve of when films over explain things, and I think they gave us exactly what we needed with this one.
