Sing Sing
It’s amazing how I cried when I saw that most of the prisoners in this movie performed as themselvs. I also cried at the end when he got out of jail (from what I understood it was because he served his sentence and not because he was proved innocent) and the only person who went to see him wasn’t his mother nor his family, but his friend who got out and was able to recover because of him. Also, it’s amazing how many people this man saved and helped with all the years he had in prison only doing it because he truly believed in them. And seeing each one of them get out from there for more than 20 years while knowing he himself was innocent but yet he wasn’t going to be released and had to fullfil a sentence for a crime he did not commit. This was devastating and I can’t believe how this movie (and Colman Domingo) didn’t won any award.
