GoodFellas
96/100
Scorsese abandons the high ranks that were usually depicted in the genre and decides to focus on the middle-class man that tanks to the mob manages to achieve the "American Dream". The characters are unique and human and the movie is based on the constant conflict between private life and work life highlighting the contradictions and hypocrisies of the society that is represented. The cinematography is charming and every technical aspect is nearly perfect as well making it one of the best Mafia movies ever.
