Ikiru
Ikiru = To Live
It took me FOREVER to finally watch this movie. Why the hell did I wait so long? This is probably one of the most fleshed out and realistic movies I think I’ve ever watched. Kanji specifically. He finds out he has a terminal disease, and that he has less than a year to live, and starts seeing things much more clearly. It’s like for 30 years he was just existing, not really living.

Overall, Ikiru is an amazing movie and definitely still holds up 74 years later. If you haven’t watched it then I think you should. Revolutionary movie that’ll change your outlook on life.
