Skyfall

Yeah this is one of the greatest movies made holy hell. Hats off to Roger fuckin Deakins, looked it up and somehow Skyfall and Django lost best cinematography to Life of Pi. Big whiff. This just looks beautiful and is framed so nicely, the introduction monologue of Silva is insane. Dench and Bardem should’ve gotten best supporting Oscar noms, especially Dench, I think what she does here is extraordinary and the best acting a Bond film has ever gotten. I like the foundation of Moneypenny built here and I love how ironic that Bond’s Q is the tech version of himself in Casino Royale, young and cocky. Crazy how shitty Craig looks before he gets that shave. We get the classic Ashton Martin. Sam Mendes’ masterpiece.
