Lilo & Stitch

I don't think we talk enough of the parallels between Lilo and Stitch. They both center on both being lonely misunderstood outcasts that do end up with the basic found family trope. The two of them are driven by abandonment and loss,as both have lost their families/homes and end up feeling isolated.Lilo lost her parents in a car accident while Stitch is a genetic experiment without a purpose or family, both are struggling to find where they belong. I've mainly noticed it upon rewatch when first Stitch bit Gantu and then way later on Lilo bit Mertle, which is to show that others view them as dangerous or ''freaks''. Yes I do take this movie seriously 😭
