Chernobyl

Episode 1: incredibly stupid and horribly disrespectful to the soviet people and that scene where that old guy is like “we seal off the city, cut the phone lines” is so incredibly stupid, i am confused as to how people think that this show, that depicts the heroes who saved europe as evil villains, is a masterpiece  Episode 2: Boris Shcherbina be like “tell me how a nuclear reactor works or ill have one of these soldiers throw you out of the helicopter”.. yeah thats totally exactly what happened.  “fly over that building or ill have you shot” - *vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union, Boris Shcherbina*.  glad theyre showing the people who died to save europe at least some recognition but agh why did it have to end on a cliffhanger Episode 3: extremely disturbing  Episode 4: i like the reference to the cow eye scene in Come and See but i think what theyre trying to say is that the soviets are as bad as the nazis or some bullshit like that.   Episode 5: not a masterpiece at all, i like that it showed what happened to the people who were there but the fucking portrayal of the politicians as villains is so stupid and over the top for me
