Freaks

Really loved this.  It’s certainly really unfortunate that when this was released back in the early 30s it was considered a horror film, like the only real “horror-esque” element of this movie is the scene towards the end, in general this is just a drama. I also really enjoyed how wholesome some of the scenes were, I’m not saying this movie is perfect but it definitely was quite ahead of its time in many different ways. I also really enjoyed the found family unit of this film, it was very sweet.  I felt so bad for Frieda 💔 So happy I finally got to watching this. I HIGHLY recommend this linked video on the film (it’s very good).
