Before Sunset
This movie is essentially two people walking around and talking, reminiscing, and catching up for an hour and a half, and it’s so good. The dialogue flows effortlessly, feeling genuine and unscripted, delivered with remarkable authenticity by the talented actors. It feels natural and real, as if they aren't reading from a script at all. I love the director's decision to maintain long, uninterrupted takes, he rarely cuts away or changes angles, just letting them talk for minutes on end, letting the shots breathe. It genuinely feels like two people having a conversation, and the director keeps the scenes flowing smoothly. This basically applies to all three Before movies. Just incredible.
