Incendies

You will not be the same after watching this. Coming fresh off the Dune Part 2 hype train, I’ve decided to watch one of the lesser-known Denis Villeneuve films that rarely garners much attention. It's a departure from his usual high-budget Hollywood American sci-fi movies that we see him make nowadays.  I had never seen anything from this movie nor did I know anything about it prior to watching it, and I’m glad because this movie shocked me to the core. A jaw-droppingly harrowing, dark, and deeply gutwrenching movie that I doubt I want to watch again because of how grim it can get. Nonetheless, it's a film I'd recommend to anyone because of how excellent it is.
