King Kong
The first time I saw this I got picked up from school and was surprised with not going home but going straight to the theater to see King Kong! and I was so excited because it was a different theater it was the only theater left playing the movie and it was the last screening and the last day it was playing.I remember the opening shot so vividly and every time I see it I am sent back in time. I rewatched the DVD to the point it skipped an abundant amount of times and was basically unplayable. And after rewatching this over a decade later, Nostalgia may be steering this boat but I was still given a great journey and this 3 hour runtime which can seem tiresome, was an eventful journey down memory lane. This recent King Kong kick has got me feeling like a kid again!
