Frankenstein
THOU SHALT NOT PLAY GOD!
This was a remarkably enchanting experience. What a brilliant piece of creation did Mary Shelley birth and what a beautiful rendition of her masterpiece.
Man's incessant greed to conquer nature has destroyed billions of lives and threatens to doom even more. Whereas women seek to understand, men tend to seek solutions, and in doing so, think of themselves as the authority over all lifeforms. What a harrowing travesty!
Del Toro's 'Frankenstein' is a marvellously brewed and deliciously presented feast of the senses. I could spend a day talking about the delightful details of this film. I'm stunned, amazed, floored, and I'm yet to pick my jaw up. This is GDT at his best. Impeccably meticulous, seductively sublime, breathtakingly gorgeous, utterly stupendous work of art. Ferociously soulful piece of cinema.
