Adaptation.

How does Spike Jonze continue to put out movies that feel like they were perfectly constructed for me, first Being John Malkovich with Björk in the after credits and now Adaptation with Happy Together? Also this is possibly one of the most meta movies of all time (Symbiopsychotaxiplasm being the other contender). I’m also ashamed to admit that it took Charlie Kaufman putting himself in his own script for me to realize that he’s one of my favorite screenwriters and has written so many films that I love. Anyway I had a feeling this would be a perfect watch for my birthday and I’m glad I was right!
