preparation for fire and ash commences. school ended on friday and i wasn’t able to go see it opening night because i had to pick up my aunt from the airport and so i’ll only be able to see it after christmas because the days before are always a mess at the shopping centres. so, while i keep feeling fomo, a rewatch of this beautiful film was in order. despite the grandeur fight scenes from the first hour or so onward, my favourite part of the og avatar is 100% jake’s adaptation to the na’vi. james cameron makes you feel like you are there with them and getting to know that incredible tribe and people.
