Spider-Man 2

there is some charm about spider man 2. it’s raimi delving deeper into the character of peter parker; it’s the ease with the film switches genre effectively, between rom com, superhero and horror; it’s the spectacular plot. everything in this screams best superhero film of all time. and it’s not far from it. my favourite from the raimi trilogy and my objective pick for best spider man film, even if i have other personal favourites. sam raimi accomplishes in sm2 something few can with superhero flicks. make it feel like a real movie. and i mean this in a way that, take away the superhero conflict, spider man 2’s storyline could still be very well utilised in a different environment, with the right changes of course. i’ll always have a deep care for tobey maguire’s peter and with this, i have completed the first floor of the lego daily bugle.
