The Batman

whenever i feel like i don’t like this movie as much as i do i have to obligatorily watch it. i forget how much the chase scene between bat and the penguin rocks. the dopamine released by my body during that scene reaches levels never before seen by the human race. and man every moment between bruce and selina makes me feel so good, when they’re at falcone’s place their interaction is SO great. i’m sorry this is still going but the arkham confrontation gives me the creeps in the best way. and the way bruce wouldn’t look at the riddler until he realised he didn’t know his identity is genius. also fuck it, the garden flooded scene with bruce holding the red fume is excellent in a way that the most feared individual in gotham became a beacon of hope to everyone. it makes my heart melt. matt reeves i hope you cooked with the part two script because to one up this masterpiece is tough.
