Train Dreams
this was probably the most amazed and sentimental i’ve been in a while. the narration, the storytelling, everything about robert granier was compelling. the cinematography really is the highlight of the film but the score isn’t far behind. those two elements are sewn together to create this atmosphere of belonging and comfort to the woods. the score is so beautiful i almost cried in some scenes. joel edgerton is really great it’s incredible. i didn’t think he’d move me as he did. wonderful film. that ending sequence was also one of my favourite of the year for sure. tears were shed.
