Moonlight
I think everyone needs to watch moonlight 2016, like genuinely everyone i do not care what your race sexuality or gender is. This movie is sooo gut wrenching in the best way possible (sumpah ajg aku nangis terus, niya's crying count: 4×) and that is exactly why it matters so much it matters for so many reasons i cant even line them up neatly. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of queer media i have ever seen, god bless whoever made this and relate with it.
Especially right now with everything happening in the world, i keep wishing we had more movies like this, more stories that are not just about white gay men over and over again as if that is the only version of queerness worth putting on screen:/ hope no one get offended ya karna emang e sinefil profesional aja yang boleh beropini, awam kaya aku gaboleh tah #izin
I just wish more filmmakers would take risks and tell stories about other queer lives too, about poc, about black queer people about all the identities that rarely get the spotlight, ESPECIALLY AND IMPORTANTLY southeast asian queer. Im still waiting on that Indonesian!! Cmon
#movie so good i immediately make a poem about it
