Vertigo
Hitchcock's best along with Psycho. Its almost impossible to guess where the film is going, and it changes into something completely different several times throughout. It may be Hitchcock's most visually intriguing film too. Its also a rare case of a film from the 50s confronting the ugly face of sexism/obsession, making you doubt who to trust and who to sympathise with.
