Angel's Egg
Simply one of the greatest films about genocide, war, and, of course, the atomic bomb. Its abstraction and surrealism surpass those of any other film on these subjects, because such feelings and experiences cannot be expressed in words. The film uses memory and allegory to speak the unspoken and to find a way to understand the aftermath of humanity’s greatest atrocities. In its own confusion, it seems to find an absolute truth.
