everything about nora reflects me. her flaws, her feelings and the way renate reinsve portrays her just felt like a big fat mirror was held up to me the whole time. the way she looks at people, everything she says or does in relation to gustav, and literally every interaction she has with anyone feels like a replication of my life. every other sentence in this script is an arrow to my heart.

and that’s on being the oldest daughter. the shot of their faces shifting into each other… chills every time 😭
i can rip apart several layers of meaning from every little line in this film it's just that dear to me.
ive also thought abt the opening scene when nora asks jakob to slap her every day since i first saw it.
