A Clockwork Orange

Kubrik has really impressed me with 2001 eyes wide shut and dr strange love and this movie is no exception its abseloutly brilliant and in my opinion the best i have seen from him yet apart from maybe 2001 just because it has the best sequence in any film probably ever in the space shittle going to jupiter, kubrik really brought his A game while making this movie every scene is beautiful in terms of the way its shot , the background and set work the music is amazing and my boy alex is an amazing protagnist which i really liked. Alex is a fucked up piece of human flith who mureders and rapes innocent people for the love of the game with his group of degenerat asshole friends of his, he has an obssesion to beethoven and this obssesion fucked him up in the 2 most significnt points if the movie him defebding the new lady when she sings that causes his gang to turn on him and bassicly send him to jail and because beethoven is played when the expirements happen he has the same reaction to the music as he does to violence, but the main thing that i want to mention is the fact that altough he is a piece of shit kubrik makes me feel bad for the motherfucker the guy bassicly gets what he deserves by being beat up by the old dudes his friends and locked in a cage while hearing beethoven by the husband of the womand he raped and after he expirineced all of that i feel bad for him and i feel like its only because kubrik wrote it so we can relate to the guy even when knowing that hes a piece of shit. This movie is tuff to view especially at the start there is extreme violence rape that is seen fully on screen and a lot more fucked up shit like the expiriment scenes and him bassicly attempting sucide not for weak hearted people. This movie's main purpose is to ask a question what is worse a guy that has free choise and chooses to be a despicable human being or a goverment proggramed robot that cant harm any one and cant protect him self? Alex is a dogshit person that chooses to be that way and when the free choise is taked away from him so is his humanity he becomes a robot and by the end when he gets his free choise back he chooses again to be a son of a bitch and that shows that he didnt learn anything when he was made to be good by the goverment he didnt learn anything from that expirience and chooses to be bad when he has his choise again and this concept is fascinating to me and kubrik executed that concept to perfection Overall its a great movie with amazing cinematography sets and writing 9.3/10.
