About Time

i've had this masterpiece in my watchlist for a while now i think for at least 2 months and i honestly dont know why i put it there i think its because after i watched la la land i went into the romance tag and just put a lot of movies into my watchlist because i wanted to really explore the genere but i digress so i was watching some escape pod clip where they made their letterboxd top 4 and andrew put it in his top 4 so i said why not give it a shot and lets say that i dont regret that decision this movie is imppecable in almost every single way i love it so much it is amazing funny emotinal and dramatic. rachel mccadams I LOVE YOU this movie is amazing and u made it for me your acting troughout the movie is amazing and everything u do in this movie is abseloutly amazing youre super hot like redicioulisly hot to the point where i get why he turned down margot robbie because who needs probably the most beautiful woman on the planet when you have rachel mccadams waiting for you at home, tim is the main charcter and he is abseloutly lovely in the movie his decision making at the start is a bit questionable with the way he uses his powers and when he went back to help harry with his play and he forgot about the fact that he will not have mary's number i found that a bit dumb and he was cringy at times but he still gives a really good performance especially twoards the end with everything to do with kit kat and his dad chef's kiss. this movie has such an amazing concept it is probably my favourite romance concept ever it has the best of the science fiction world and the romance world and when i realized this movie's concept littearly at the 10 minute mark this movie already got a 5 star review they just had to stick the landing and they abseloutly did everything in this movie from start to finish is amazing apart from tim being a tad bit cringy at times but still this is an amazing movie. i will now really elobrate about the plot and everything i like about it in the first hour of the movie before we get into the emotinal stuff with the dad and kit kat the start of the movie and his convo with his dad was so funny and everything to do with margot robbie in this movie had me either dying laughing or horny as shit mary is unbelivable in every scene that shes in from their BLIND date which was so nice to see to their true first time seeing each other when u can see they are so nervous and when he says that he likes her fringe i had butterflies their second meeting was really funny as well in the kate moss show where hes so creepy and when he sees her with rupert and gets so jelous thats another amazing part i loved everything to do with tim and rupert when they were together abseloutly hilarious their sex scene was again amazing so funny the way he went back 3 times just so he could be better everytime as they slowly go from being in the bed to the floor hilarious when you see their montage in the train station amazing montage so romantic tim's date with margot robbie was really funny when he calls her gay then her friend is gay abseloutly hilarious and when he says no to sex with margot robbie i was shocked and well you can understand when he has rachel mcadams waiting for him at home the proposal was hilarious and romantic at the same time the joke at the end where she says i am so happy you didnt invite other people because she hates other people had me melting just for him to go turn the radio off and send off the band hilarious the scene where he meets her partents again hilarious. the second part of the movie is as good as the first everything to do with kit kat and jimmy was really good where they go back in time together to change things so kit kat doesnt meet jimmy just for it to fuck up the timeline and make it so that he has a son instead of a daughter and that makes him go back in time again to make it so that kit kat does get into an abusive realitonship with jimmy and get into the car accident and then take care of kit kat and make her break up with jimmy was so good it makes tim choose between his daughter and kit kat and i found that amazing the wedding was another really good part of the movie with the best man speech switching between harry jay and his dad because their speech's sucked was another hilarious highlight the rule that he cant go back to before his kids were born because it changes the sperm and creates a different kid was again an amazing thing the main highlight of the movie is everything to do with his dad getting cancer it was devestating seeing tim dealing with his dad's passing and then seeing him have to choose between a 3rd kid or his dad was another devestating thing that i couldnt help but ugly cry all the way through. overall this is an amazing film that i will forever and ever adore and hold very close to my heart its amazing 9.8/10.
