Training Day
Denzel Washingtons performance in Training Day just might be one of the best showcases of top tier acting. Such an entertaining and brilliant plot, it goes to some very unexpected places because of Alonzo the antagonist of the movie who is so unpredictable. Alonzo is also one of the most manipulative characters put on screen, lead by one hell of a performance as stated earlier. The pacing is so tight, never for a moment are you left uninterested. I have only been talking about Denzel Washington but Ethan Hawke goes on par with him and its also one of his best performances. So this movie has some of the best written characters of all time, a really tight pace, an amazing script and some of the best acting, what more could you ask for from a movie.
