Jaws

Matt Hooper is the biggest diva ever, I love him.  But here’s a list of the most HORRIFIC parts of this film, because watching it in the cinema last year changed me fundamentally even though I’ve been watching this film since I was like 8: -the rapid breathing Chrissy does when she realises what’s going on -the shark flipping over as it eats the little boy  -that mother fucking jump scare with the dead guy in the boat. Gets me literally every time even though I spend the whole time bracing myself for it.  -watching the shark just under the surface as it bites off that man’s leg -Quints monologue.  -Hooper having to wait in the cage, knowing that it sank an entire boat and that he stands no chance. Then being sneak attacked.  -Quint being bitten in half below the waist by a shark, just like he was so scared of back in 1945 I love this film. Happy belated 50th birthday, Jaws.
