Watchmen

Probably will always be Zack Snyder's crowning achievement in my eyes. A visual spectacle unlike any comic book film that is dripping with the same intriguing commentary on superheroes that Moore's original graphic novel contains whilst also taking on a meta-cinematic quality that elevates the material for the theatrical experience. We will not get a creative mix of ideas like this in comic book movies ever again.
