i always thought elton john was so wholesome because his music was fun and he wore eclectic outfits and i was a kid when i was listening to him most, and then when i grew up and learned more about him i found out about all the drugs and other shit, but i was like, no, my precious baby elton john is perfect, but i guess, after 20 years, i am no longer in denial, i recognize that homeboy did in fact have a pretty trash life, but he’s gotta be living a great one now.  also, your song never fails to make me cry
