WOW just wow. This show is so gut wrenching it’s taken me two years of watching it on and off to completely it. My heart will forever ache for Marianne and Connell. I really enjoy how raw the entire show felt, like we’re not just spectators in a singular story but we were being told the trials and tribulations of any modern couple from the couples perspective( not sure if that makes sense). In tv shows couples always face adversity and end up together, here they don’t. Not even a flash forward in which the audience could have some semblance of hope they ended up together. I would have love to seen a therapy session with Marianne. Such a beautiful show and I am not sure if I can ever rewatch fully through.
