i mean, it's kind of hard not to think these fish are gay. the themes of acceptance, hiding who you are, and only showing your true colors under pressure, no wonder this film is so established in the queer community.
but really, we need more pixar films like this. it has the authenticity and heart that many pixar films didn't have. it's a simple concept: exposed to air = human. exposed to water = fish, **and yet it's still amazing.
