pixar marathon (22/30) soul, 2020. one of the first times i've ever genuinely smiled at a movie's ending. i used to think that the 2nd act of this film was lesser than the other two. it was full of humor in a movie that was so meaningful and profound. but now i realize that it might be the best out of all of them. the film is ultimately about living your life to the fullest. and the 2nd act is what perfectly encapsulates that. it's full of 22 enjoying their life in joe's body. there's a reason most if not all of the scenes in the 2nd act is in the moment where Joe realizes her was wrong. this movie resonates with me, so, so much. it's insanely creative, and the message still is relevant. 9.5
