An empire crumbles under the conflicts between power hungry children and in the end everyone loses. In war there are no winners, just survivors.
Visually stunning movie with beautiful use of color. Akira Kurosawa is truly a master at his art and this movie is a masterpiece. Every shot felt intentional, the story was engaging while being easy to follow. The characters were interesting and I can’t stress enough how good the ending was.
