As bad as I wanna say this movie is. It’s not that terrible… I’ve seen far worse (unfortunately). I’ve seen bad college films, terrible B-movies, & god after films on Tubi that were far worse than this. This movie does have Porn Hub levels of acting. CGI was questionable for sure. I will give credit for practical effects. Most likely were most of the budget went (practical effects). Feels like they would write stuff into the movie and forget about it. Like the girl was pregnant and then wasn’t mentioned or set up for anything later. They also introduced the dad as a creepy stalker. Which makes you not like him, but kill him off and make you want to care that he died, but the spent so long making him out to be a weirdo creep, that it doesn’t make you feel bad that he’s dead nor feel bad for the little girl that just found out he was her father. He legit sacrifices himself and the girl didn’t give a single fuck, neither did I lol. Scenes would drag for way to fucking long. Absolute torture to watch how long they dragged scenes. Could legit cut out 30 minutes and miss nothing for the “story” if you can even call it that. All in all. Kind of glad I seen the movie though. Could be fun to rip on it with friends while getting high or drunk.

This movie was a little lack luster, but a solid performance from Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen/Clayface. I hope to see him in more films. The real horror unfortunately doesn’t begin until the last 20 or 25 minutes of the movie. Also has some pacing issues in my books. Not a bad film and would recommend and maybe rewatch to catch some Easter eggs I might have missed.

I really enjoyed this movie, but I feel like it wasn’t as great as the first. Not saying this movie is worse by any means. Like, it’s pretty neck and neck. But, the reason why I’m going with the first Saw movie over this one. The first movie was made on a lower budget, with a better cast, and just better acting as a whole. Now you can say they had some better actors in the first Saw movie than this one. Not to discredit or insult the actors in this film. They just didn’t bring the same impact or elevate the script. Plot and plot twists could of been a little better in this movie. The story could of taken more time in the kitchen to cook a little mores I will say this movies gore was much more bloody and disgusting than the first Saw movie. The traps and gore scenes had me cringing so hard. Starting to love Jigsaw’s character more we see him in these films. His character really stands out from most horror icons. Due to his high IQ and his twisted mindset. As twisted as his mindset is. I kind of understand what he’s talking about. Which is very twisted to think. Like his whole way of how he sees the world and how he sees 2nd chances on living. It’s weird because I see where he’s coming from, but it’s just not right. Definitely gives off cult leader vibes. Seeing how he’s able to change people, just goes well with cult leader. IQ and twisted mindset, I get a some Hannibal Lecter vibes from John (Jigsaw). All in all. This movie felt more gore heavy then plot heavy. And felt like it needed a crazy twist because the first movie had a crazy one. Could of been much better. Liked the cops, but wanted to know more about the characters in the actual game itself.

First time I watched this movie from beginning to end was 5 years ago. And I must say. This film holds up and is damn near better than movies that have came out the last 4 to 5 years. The story and the way everything starts to connect by the end, masterpiece! I see why this franchise is so beloved by many. This movie had my attention the whole way through and on the edge of my seat. Not many films now a days can do that. And it’s hard to keep my attention, my ADHD will make me get distracted or cause me to doom scroll my phone from boredom, but no. Eyes was completely locked on the screen (my PC) for this one. Watching this film is like riding a wild rollercoaster ride, but backwards, with some crazy loopty loops. (Spoilers) The fact the mastermind beind everything pretending to dead. Being in the same exact room with them, blew my mind! I felt dumb not picking that up early on. Such a great watch.
